READ posters

I had the pleasure recently to work with Ms. Moncure who teaches photography at RBV.  Her students would be creating READ posters, and she asked if the photography could take place in the library. How could I say no? And how could I get more involved?

The posters project turned into a contest. The library staff was invited to select two posters from each class period that would be printed for entry into the contest. An overall winner and a runner-up were then chosen to receive prizes.

Stop by the library to see the results. There are ten outstanding examples on display. Ms. Moncure's students readily embraced this assignment and the posters prove it.
